Join Us for Coffee, Refreshments, and Fellowship After Mass
The Solemnity of St. Benedict Saturday, July 11 — Mass at 11:15 AM
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
On Saturday, July 11, we will gather to celebrate the Feast of St. Benedict, father of Western monasticism and a guiding light for all who seek a life rooted in prayer, stability, and holy discipline. In honor of this feast, a special Mass will be offered at 11:15 AM, followed immediately by the monthly meeting of our parish Oblates who practice the Rule of St. Benedict.
This day offers a beautiful opportunity not only to worship together on a summer morning, but also to learn more about the Benedictine way of life. Following Mass, the Oblates will pray the Office of Sext and then hold their meeting and discussion. All parishioners are welcome to stay, observe, and take part in the conversation.
During the gathering, a brief reflection will be shared on the life of St. Benedict, including the beloved story of his relationship with his sister, St. Scholastica—a reminder of the deep spiritual friendship and mutual
encouragement that mark the Benedictine tradition.
We invite everyone to join us for this special celebration of faith, learning, and fellowship as we honor St. Benedict and support the Oblates of
our parish.

A Message from Fr. Gabariel Souza
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I would like to introduce you to a dear friend and brother priest,Father Miljan Miticof the Serbian Orthodox Church. Over the years I have come to know him as a
faithful servant of Christ, a devoted priest, and a man of deep and steady faith.
Recently, Fr. Miljan was diagnosed withStage 5 kidney failure, and he now faces significant medical challenges. Despite this difficult cross, he continues to place his trust entirely in our Lord Jesus Christ and to serve Him with courage and hope.

"O Lord Almighty, the Healer of our
souls and bodies, You Who put down and raise up, Who chastise and heal also; do You now, in Your great mercy, visit our brothers and sisters who are sick."
For Our New Priest
Jesus, eternal Priest, keep this thy Priest, Father Gabriel Souza, within the shelter of Thy Sacred Heart, where none may touch him. Keep
unstained his anointed hands, which daily touch Thy Sacred Body; keep unsullied his lips, purpled with Thy precious Blood; keep pure and unearthly his heart, sealed with sublime marks of Thy glorious priesthood. Let Thy holy love surround him, and keep him ever spotless from the world. Bless his labours with abundant fruit, and may they to whom he has ministered be here below with joy and consolation, and in heaven his beautiful and everlasting crown.
Amen.
For the Increase of Priests
O Almighty God, look mercifully upon Thy Church, and incline the hearts of many of her sons to offer themselves for the work of the sacred ministry; so that by their labors, Thy
Light may shine in the darkness of the world, and the coming of Thy kingdom may be hastened by the perfecting of Thine elect. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Reminder
There is a list left in the Narthex for parishioners to remember those who need our on-going intercessions to God. The list is picked up after the Office by one of the Acolytes so they can be remembered.
Customarily their names are mentioned in the Mass. However, remembrances and intercessions now are moved to the announcements in our Communion Service.
